Rio Negro Rescue in Malaga is a 501(c)(3) Great Dane rescue that serves adults and families seeking well-matched, large-breed companions. We rescue Danes and compatible mixes, guide adopters through every step, and support donors and fosters who want their help to reach the dogs most at risk.

Great Dane Adoption

We match pre-screened Great Danes and large-breed mixes with homes that fit their size, temperament, and long-term care needs.

Rehabilitation Care

Each dog receives medical vetting, vaccines, spay or neuter when possible, plus basic training and confidence support.

Rescue Coordination

We help dogs leave difficult situations and enter a safe environment where they can rest, adjust, rebuild trust, and begin preparing for family life.
